WHAT IS ACUPUNCTURE?
Acupuncture has been around for thousands of years and has its roots in Ancient China.
With history, research and development over time it has become renowned for its effectiveness in treating a wide range of conditions.
Some people attend acupuncture for specific reasons, such as pain or injury. Whereas others attend to achieve a general sense of well being and health.
Traditional acupuncture looks at pain and illness as a sign that the body is out of balance and through treatment, aims to restore the body's natural balance.
This is acheived by the placing of fine needles at Acupuncture points.
Making connections between a person's physical, emotional and mental well being, Acupuncture aims to treat the body as a whole.
